I first started my fitness journey around 6 years ago for a couple of reasons.

The first was my mum being diagnosed with terminal cancer. For me, the gym was an outlet and somewhere I could positively channel my energy and keep me positive! The second was never being very confident in my own physique and always thought that I would be ‘skinny’ and hated the way my clothes fit me.

For probably the first 2 years of training I didn’t notice huge differences in my physique as I lacked knowledge around my training and definitely around my nutrition. I knew I should have been eating high protein foods but that is about as far as it goes.

My training was just doing the same old stuff every time I went to the gym, not knowing how to progress with my weights, how to structure my sessions, understanding proper form and it showed in my progress. (Or should I say lack of progress)

I missed out on a huge window to progress during my first 2 years of training with not knowing what I was doing. In hindsight I should have got a personal trainer to educate me, guide me and I’m sure I would be even further along than I am today 6 years later.

I want to help people who are not confident in themselves, whether they want to build muscle or lose fat I want to help you on your journey to get the physique you want and the confidence that comes with it!
