How to use the Pendulum Squat

Muscle Groups: Legs

The pendulum squat machine targets the lower portion of the body, specifically the quadriceps "quads" but also targets the hamstrings and glute muscles.

A benefit of this machine is that it allows for a deeper range of motion than a traditional squat, which can help to build more muscle and strength in the lower body and is less stressful on the knees than a traditional squat, making it a good option for people with knee problems.

To use the machine, place your feet firmly on the pad without unracking the weight, making sure your toes are pointed out slightly. Unrack the weight, with you knees following the line of the toe - whilst making sure that your lower back does not come off the back support at any point. Move downwards, and press upwards.
